That is very interesting indeed, I must tune into that boxing show, I keep forgetting about it. Surprised that Warren was to candid about it, perhaps Ricky is seriously considering a move abroad.

If he does, the thing is, BOTH of them have done rather well out of it I should think, and whilst there might be some sour grapes if Hatton leaves, he is right as his peak now, and if he wants to fight abroad he may well feel he needs to go with an American promoter.

Warren has done with Ricky, and make no mistake, it has been a masterful piece of promotion that they have done with Ricky, turning a manc lad into what is bordering on becoming a global star, and filling his home arena time and time again.

If Hatton really does want to have a few more fights then call it a day, he will probably have to go stateside, the big names out there aren't going to want to come to Manchester after seeing the ride Tszyu got. The fight cards said it all, Tszyu was way behind even before the stoppage, which was blatantly wrong. I cannot see why Mayweather is going to want to give Ricky home advantage.

He's denied that Hatton has left him. Apparently, they appraoched main events about a bout with the WBA champ according to this.

Yeah he was scheduled to appear on the Arthur - Sinitsin undercard back in July, but dropped off shortly before. Can only find one thread about it, which is strange because I thought it was discussed quite a bit on the board..?

I don't doubt it mate i was probably asleep or something, my PC was broken for a few months so missed that thread perhaps. I got my first glimpse of M'baye recently against Harris and i was impressed, he was sharp, compact and very neat and tidy i am surprised he hasn't featured more at world level.

No I actually think it wasn't discussed at all - just me thinking about it too much made me think it was. I agree with your assessment of M'Baye, this would have been a decent first defence, IMO.
