Dear Boxing Records Archives,
In your database, you have 2 Johnny Bizzarro's from Erie, Pennsylvania listed. You have Johnny Bizzarro, Sr who boxed from November 20, 1958 until September 2, 1968. You also have Johhny "Boy" Bizzarro, his nephew. The problem is, there is actually a 3rd Johnny Bizzarro, Johnny Bizzarro, Jr who you don't have listed at all. You see, Johnny Jr started boxing in the 1980's when his cousin Johnny "Boy" Bizzarro did. You actually have Johnny Jr's fights listed along with Johnny "Boy's" fights. I can actually point out a few that belong to Johnny Jr. From what I can remember, Johnny Jr had 17 professional fights, retiring in October or November of 1987 after losing a fight in Erie Pennsylvania. His final record was "I believe" 12 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws.
Just so you can kinda keep it straight, Johnny Sr had a son named Johnny Jr. Johnny "Boy" Bizzarro was a few years younger than Johnny Jr and was the son of Johnny Sr's brother Louie Bizzarro who in 1976 challenged Roberto Duran for the lightweight world title. I just thought that you would like to know that you have this mistake in your database. Also, in Craig Snyder's boxing record, on November 23, 1994, he won the IBC Continental Americas Jr Middleweight title over Tommy Small of Beckley, West Virginia. The fight is listed correctly, but there is no designation that it was a title bout. (I just know that because I am the winner of that bout and title.)
To let you know also, I know the Bizzarros very well, Johnny Jr and I lived in a boxing training camp together in Canfield, Ohio in 1986 & 1987. He also was a groomsmen in my wedding in 1996 so that is how I know of the mistakes in the Bizzarro boxing records that you have made.
