Price's best opponent was an overweight McDermott. McDermott is English title level, beating him does not suggest that a fighter is world or even European class.

The sooner he KO's Sexton and picks up the british title the better, maybe then we can see him work through the levels. As far as "british level" goes, the british scene isn't too bad right now, when you consider Haye & Chisora in title fights & clearly Tyson Fury feels he is beyond british level with his refusal to fight DP.
So effectively, Price is left with the 2nd tier of british heavyweights if you like, bums like A-Farce, which if we are honest we know he is well beyond.
It may well be premature, but the HW scene is so diabolical right now i'd actually throw Price's name in as potential next world champ. By the time he has a few more fights the brothers will be rather aged (especially Vitali). Price is 6ft 8 , but more importantly he is conditioned & can punch. Guys like Fury, Helenius & Chisora are uncoditioned pigs who cant punch. Beyond that here is very few legit heavies, perhaps Arreola & Povetkin. After that, theres some cruisers like Adameck, Mormeck (fighting the brothers) & now Huck who fancies it because the division is so poor.
