Plans for Chisora Vs Klitchko?

Post by MacTavish »

Can't wait for this one - got allegedly, got myself a new 32" TV and going to get some beers in and sit back and watch Del Boy cause a huge upset / be pummeled for 8 rounds before retiring (delete as appropriate).

Any news on what the undercard is like?

What is everyone's plans?

Me and a mate are going to try Boxers Bar in Liverpool Street assuming they have it on. Chisora will take an almighty beating from Vitali who sounds very irritated with him.

I'll probably forget it's on, remember about an hour after the event, and then trawl YouTube in vain for an early repeat. Meantime, I'll come here to read the comments.

"Where's Perez?"

"Vitali's old: Price could take him now."

"Is Solis under 300 again or no?"

"Is Mitchell's TBA much cop?"

"Mansour's coming."

"What about Povetkin this year?"

"G'wan, Larry!"

Ive been thinking that the last big heavyweight upset was lewis v rahman 1,before that was tyson v douglas and if it happens again that means there was eleven years between each from 1990 to 2012,weird or what :oo

Well spotted bigjack. Boxing needs an upset to set pulses racing again.

I payed for the channel last night.
There is a drought of boxing at the moment so i thought it was a tenner well spent.
I am looking forward to seeing how devastating Viltali can be putting Chisora away. This is the only attraction for me in this fight.
Del Boy 'As Dull as Dishwater' Chisora should be pretty much beaten up by round 8.
I dont even think his training looks much good ( being hit by one glove on a broom handle). As far as i know Klit has two arms lol

Have now decided on Sports Cafe in London to watch the fight. Nowhere else in London seems to be showing it and I wanted to go out and watch rather than take out a 6 month subscription to allegedly.

I might have to head over there too. Not ideal though as they usually have the volume off and the place is full of drunken scumbags.

I just phoned Oktoberfest on the Fulham Road and asked if they're showing it on their big screens. The guy said they might be and would check with his manager at 5. I reckon if another couple of people phone to say they want it, they'll definitely put it on. The place looks a hell of a lot more fun than the Sports Cafe.

I shall most probably watch it in deepest, darkest Patpong.
