This is sad news, but I think that (slapbangwhallop) may have Pat's age a little wrong he was not as old as was mentioned born in fact on 28th April 1946 not 1928. was a true fighter no doubt about it, remember him well. RIP Pat McCormack.

as Frank says, Pat was never shy of taking a late fight or travelling abroad for his crust and fought in all four corners of the world

Your message is not correct when you refer to Pat as being able to drink anyone under the table. He was not a drinker (only shandy's) but certainly the part about a real fighter is true. He was a great man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I hope you will change your original post referring to this. Many thanks

Always remember His Fight,against Brian Hudspeth, London Finals. Had Hudspeth,[ Hudson as a Pro] down 3 times in the 1st, then got stopped on a cut, unlucky. Good Fighter and very nice Man. RIP.
