Im picking one thats a boxing nut.
Regardless there is still the curiosity of how he (SBW) was going to go.
I watched at the pub due to curiosity. Im picking thats the same for quite a few of us on here?
was going to goto the pub, but found a stream. lucky i did because as soon as i got it on the fight was starting and my house mate walked in the door. had we gone to the pub we woulda walked there while the "fight" was on.
i wont be paying for a shit card like that. if he somehow manages to get to a high level and puts a decent card on i may consider it, but i wont be holding my breath.
I agree. The card was shit. The price was nearly twice that of a pacman fight which is ludicrous .
All people paid for was to satisfy there curiosity. But as we know thats the factor hes got and some will pay that (most likely grudgingly) to satisfy that curiosity. Admittedly SBW was improved. The show overall was in the $0- $2 worth in pay per view rating in IMO . Where as pacman vs Marquez3 (which was $25 in NZ) I would of happily paid a $100 and got serious value for money (even if the result wasnt the correct one).
Personally, i think the fight was apt for SBW"s 5th fight, don't know for sure if the fight was legit for Tilman, big pay day and all, but it's the gaul of the promoting company demanding $50, shit it wasn't worth 20 cents in matchups, and it's insulting to Fox's Friday night fights for the suggestion of this being worthy.
I didn't watch, this is the only local card i haven't seen in 8 years or more, however i was pretty much able to see the entire fight of fox sports news.
10 rounds of boxing over 6 fights is disgusting and damaging for the sport.
i don't have a problem whatever they want to charge. it could be $450 ppv if they want. many people r saying its criminal etc. but if people keep paying to watch it then it will keep happening.
they r running a business, they set the price and people choose whether or not to hand over money to watch or not. good luck to dunny and co. if the public r gullible enough to pay for it.
everyones complaining about struggling to afford the bare neccessities and get by, but waste $50 on this, lol.
yes if it is a rip off in anyone's opinion do not watch - I chose not to and giving this bull shit anymore credibility than it deserves on a purist forum/thread base is ridiculous.... so ...good luck to Clarence and his acting career - SBW can vacate his NZPBA title and then create the BOXA PBA and fight Hoppa for the title....
