Post by markfightoptions »

We have some decent boxing on this weekend which must be worth a flutter

Im having a small bet on:

Brian Magee KO/TKO/DQ 7/2
Jason Booth WIN 10/3

£20 will return you £389.97

I fancy putting a tenner on 'Del Boy'. Worth a cheeky bet especially given Klitschko's age.

Nice odds you've got there, Mark. Who you betting with?

nice way to turn £20 into £4289.67

Brian Magee KO/TKO/DQ 7/2
Jason Booth WIN 10/3
Derek Chisora WIN 10/1

Yeah 3 is pushing it

I normally use Bet365, as they seem to have alot more choice in fights.

Good Luck with your bet. You've inspired me to put some money in my betting account and get betting again.

I'd like to know the odds on Del Boy losing by DQ. Ed Robinson suggested that bet to me this morning, hours before the weigh in slap. Bet the odds shortened dramatically after that. My favourite would be Vitali round group 4-6.

Klitz to win by dq is 1/4 ... its in with the ko tko bet

techical draw is 40/1... might be worth a £2.50 to get a ton back

DQ call is a really good one. Though, Dereck often gets abit carried away at the weigh-ins.

I think I'm just too Pro - British Heavyweight. Always backed Bruno as a kid and seem to favour the Brit Heavies, even into my mid 30's.

I think Magee could get a stoppage over Rudy, while I can see Booth beating Galahad but I'm backing Galahad.

I dont think Del Boy will get close enough to Dr Ironfist to even get a chance to DQ.

If I was betting on the fight id have to be a typical Klit KO Rounds 10-12 - a slow beatdown where the corner takes Del Boy out or the ref takes pity..... I just hope that common sense prevails in the fight if it is all one way.

5/1 with Boyle sports on Klit 10-12

good bet @ 66/1 that would have been, never actually seen a dq as a single bet before, very open to match fixing.

I was gutted to miss it. Went on the site to check it was still 66, it was so I registered etc, took maybe three minutes, went back and it had dropped to 33. Still, 20 quid plus the free 10 pound bet they give you comes out at over a grand anyway, I'd be happy with that

I got £42.70 on the DQ at 66-1 (max bet allowed). Chisora is unbalanced, so is not as long a shot as 66-1

Get in! My brain is making all sorts of arguments why this will happen. In fact, it already HAS happened, they should pay me now!

Jason Ball at 16/1 to beat Chris Eubank Jnr, anyone fancy an upset? I mean Eubank is untested and Ball has desire.
33/1 for Ball to win on points

Backing Magee to stop Rudy is pretty much a guaranteed earner.

Right ive just completed my bets for today, some might say its complete pie in the sky but here goes:

1,
Magee to win by k/o = 7/2 (paddy power, £50 free bets x 4)
£80 single = pays £360

2,
Booth to win by k/o = 9/1 (bet365, upto £200 free bets)
Magee to win by k/0 = 10/3
£10 double = pays £423.33

3,

Booth to win rounds 4-6 = 33/1
Magee to win rounds 4-6 = 14/1
£10 double = pays £5090

If all comes in ill be a very happy bunny

I hear from the horses mouth that brian magee to win by k/o is a good bet at 7/2

Edit-

Just stuck chisora in, dont fancy him at all but you never know with the heavyweights, klitz is gonna slow at some stage

Chisora to win by k/0 = 11/1
Booth to win by k/o = 9/1
Magee to win by k/0 = 10/3
(bet365)
£10 treble = pays £5190

BOOM!

3K on Vitali just to win at 1/12. Absolute certainty.

I'm trying to change my betting strategy this year so rather than betting just for the sake of it I'm looking at shots I genuinely think are either a certainty (like Vitali) or are excellent value. Has worked so far this year.

3grand to win 250, absolutely nuts in my opinion, but then again... william hill and victor chandler drive much nicer cars than me

stick that 3 grand on brian magee @ 7/2

Depends on how you calculate value. Betting long odds on is not always a mugs option. I make Vitali about a 1/50 shot for this so 1/12 is good value.

Let's look at the plain facts, the only way Vitali can lose this fight is if he gets injured. Chisora is not a big puncher and Vitali has arguably the best chin in the history of heavyweight boxing having never been down in his career. Chisora will never get a points decision in Germany even if he wins every round which he won't as he is vastly inferior technically to Vitali.
