Inaccurate place-names.

Could someone please inform why the location list for Ireland lists Queen's County, and King's county instead of Laois and Offaly? These are not the correct place-names, and have not been in use for a century. They have never been used at any level, both officially or unofficially since independence. Are Boxrec's servers in some sort of time warp back in the 1800's?

They would have entered the system from boxers of the past who were listed from these places in old newspaper reports. Are Queen's County and King's county now the same places as Laois and Offaly ?

Yes, Queens = Laois (also sometimes spelt Leix) Kings = Offaly.

Names reverted back in 1922.
