Sam soliman is a legend in my eyes ducked no one and beat some big names. Rumoured to be fighting Garth from the hood wood.Monty wrote:Think you will find it was his second or third. Re: Ben Edwards
Mate he can fight with Kirby or maybe homono but this will be all. Hopefully he don't think he can fight Alex or meehan. he will getKO within two rounds. I think Ben is better of in kickboxing than boxingrazor7 wrote:He simply does not fight enough to guage improvement, potential, development. Shame really.

Ben has done extrimely well as a boxer in the few fights hes had, why would you say hes better at the kick boxing.
Love this icon..
Re: Ben Edwards
he would be a chance against most in oz.
Re: Ben Edwards
OK, second fight. One 4 round win against Heath Stenton before that. Still a good effort.Monty wrote:Think you will find it was his second or third. Re: Ben Edwards
its crazy when you consider Alex leapai could be one fight away from a realistic shout at challenging one of the klits !!!!!Brute wrote:..with another kickbox fight next month. Looks like boxing is on his backburner for now.

It was announced last night that Edwards had challenged the winner of the Lucas Brown / Colin Wilson fight for the Australian title.

I would love to see Edwards-Browne. It would make up for Kirby-Browne falling through.

Re: Ben Edwards
It would be a better fight that one with the Rhino these two guys wont be in there to smother the other just to sit the other on there ass.
Re: Ben Edwards
Browne-Edwars. That could be brutal. Interesting to see how Brownes composure holds up vs Edwards. That man comes out a swinging. Be a very interesting war..how long will it last?
Re: Ben Edwards
Browne- Edwards then it should be.... greatest respect to Col.... time to move on
Re: Ben Edwards
Lucas said on Friday night that Ben beat him in a kick boxing match because of Ben's superior kicking. Lucas is more of a puncher so he will probably do better in
a regular fight.
a regular fight.
Re: Ben Edwards
This bout will be an interesting and true testimony to the "pain game"...test both men and their ability to take and return fire. Regardless of who wins - be a cracking, aggressive bout.Brute wrote:Lucas said on Friday night that Ben beat him in a kick boxing match because of Ben's superior kicking. Re: Ben Edwards
IMO, arguably the 2 biggest punching heavyweights in the region coming through the ranks.
I would really like Ben to have a couple of quick bouts and run the record up and knock all the boxing rust off.
Browne looked really good the other night, and boxing skills were evident.

Re: Ben Edwards
its not rust, its his fitness he needs to work on. he got pummelled badly in his recent kickboxing fight cause he was too gassed to even hold his hands up. so he was just a walking punching bag for his opponent.
