I go wi that. Spitting is out of order. What a cock.
in his defence they wasted 18 months of his career, vitali headbutted him in at the weigh-in as they showed in the replay tonight, and then wlad made him have his hands re-wrapped for no reason. Chisoras a hot head at the best of times and in reality has just gained himself a rematch or a fight with wlad from it, wlad was milking it to build up a potential fight as well it was a 2 way thing. Also interest in the HW division has just gone up a few notches, i should imagine the yanks will start to show a big interest in chisora.

I can only remember Wlad being rocked in the 12th when Haye finally decided to give it a go.
the way i look at it is wlad landed very little every round but haye only really landed one punch in the whole fight. It was a poor show from both fighters but people seem to think it was a one sided masterclass from wlad.

Haye didn't really give it a go in the 12th. He simply managed to connect with one of the lunging haymakers that he had been missing throughout the fight, and he did nothing to follow up.

Chisora definitely brings a bit of much needed interest to the division. I look forward to he's next fights.

I have to say I watched the fight in some Eastern European stream with some mates who knew jack all about boxing, other than they they had seen the Chisora 'slap' incident and thought Chisora was the kind of Douchebag hoodie we all hate around here (we live in North London- Chisora's proclaimed stomping ground) and so it was difficult to score the rounds without any commentary.

I tried to explain to them how a round was scored: ring generalship, effective aggression etc. Yet they had Del boy winning at the end despite hating him before the fight even started. they were like: "How can you even like this sport? If a guy scores a goal in football they're winning. All Klitschko did was back off with his hands down. Chisora came forward the whole time, and everything that looked good came from Chisora".

I haven't bothered to go through the RbyR, but I thought Dereck did well here, and my non boxing fan mates (Who didn't want Chisora to win and thought he was a pudendum) had him winning.

I thought it was a close win, prob a loss for Chisora. I do not agree with the official scores. Chisora threw the clear, effective blows. Vitali was always backing off. I can think of one round, although I couldn't say which maybe the 8th or 9th, where Chisora dropped his guard and Vitali won clearly just because Dereck was being lazy. Other than than that it was always a close fight.

I think it was close. My non boxing fan friends (who hated Chisora before the fight) think Del Boy won.

Let the hate reign in.

Blows have to land in order to be effective and Chisora was missing with most of his punches, while Vitali was dropping in right hands all night. Chisora should get some credit for coming forward, throwing punches, and making a fight out of it, but his work was not particularly effective or accurate.

In defense of Chisora it was putting the bird across his knee and spanking her. Yes, well out of order even from the average bloke like us despite being a heavyweight boxer. However it does not compare to the average domestic abuse case.

As for the Klitschko's and Chisora, they have messed him around plenty. I'm sure it was sweet to spit in Wlad's face after Wlad pulled out twice and rinsed Dereck of millions. And I expect because of that and tonight's performance he will get a fight with Wlad , too.

I find it amazing that people who watch people fighting as a sport, especially those who watch OBSESSIVELY like those who post in boxing forums, get upset when a fighter does something untoward at a a weigh in or a press conference. You realise your sport is two guys trying to beat each other up, right? Oh one violent thug was RUDE to the other violent thug! Oh NO! Oh one violent thug has a PHD! You think that makes Vit more of a gentleman than Chisora? I'm applying for my PHD this year, and I'll kick your f*cking ass, OK?

Well done Dereck. I hope you get at least one six figure payday out of this,

Court report said he pinned her down and slapped her around the face multiple times. The man is an arse outside the win but clearly brave inside it.

In what planet was it ever close?? Haye hadnt landed a notable punch!!
Planet HBO and planet Germany. LOL im staying quiet I realise people on here are still too sore to think rationally about Haye-Wlad after all this time. If it werent for Hayes big mouth and that was anyone people would have said it was one of wlads hardest fights. But since it was the guy promoting himself the second coming it turned out a dud.

Hayes bigging himself up tonight was disgusting.

Chisora put on a tremendous effort and if he can learn to improve his offence which he will we really have a guy who KLitchkos aside could take over. He showed real confidence and backed up all his words unlike Haye

I think haye would be in with a big chance against vitali now but only because chisora has laid the blueprint, if haye applied those tactics he would crack vitalis ribs or spark him. If haye hadnt seen that fight he would most likely have got the fight and fought on the backfoot ineffectively again.

The wlad fight was close imo because neither fighter really landed anything of note or of volume wlad won each round by a handfull of jabs it was nowhere near the mastercalss people are making it out to be, it was haye not applying the right tactics or trying hard enough that just let the rounds build up for wlad.

Either way that fight showed that wlad is the harder fight now his movement, speed and one punch power is far better than vitalis has become.
Wether or not last night's fight set a blueprint to beat Vitali is debatable but either way Haye can't fight like that. In many ways him and Chisora are polar opposites. Chisora is suited to fighting larger men. His natural strength and thick neck mean he can bull into larger guys bobbing and weaving and take to odd shot on the way in. He has also shown he can maintain a good (but not great) work rate. Haye's build and skillset don't lend themselves to fighting like that at all.

chisora didnt really bull forward though, he just fought on the front foot and went to the body, then switched to the head every now and again. Thats the blue print. Haye stuggled to implement his fight plan aginst wlad because he thought he would be able to leap in and land pot shots, wlads foot work was too fast. Vitalis isnt anymore.

also haye had a bad toe which affected his movement - this is a very important point!
