I've seen him jab before but I don't think there was much point in jabbing Vitali, particularly out of a bobbing advance and cross arm defence.

i have a feeling those body shots really took it out of him, i wouldnt be suprised if he's cracked a rib or two, he was quite weezy when talking at the post fight interview.

i started this last night when i was out of it. i didnt know at that time what happened between him and haye. but i still stand by what i said no one talks about the heavy weights and now they are it might be for all the wrong reasons but because of the lack of talent there people are never gonna talk about it for the great match ups.

chisora has been so cleaver here because now he has beef with all the big money makers.

I like Derek but he'll never be world champion or ever win the big fights...he's a B level fighter who will always make for good fights but just dosen't have that something extra...plus his punch power at world level is pretty average.

For all his effort he lost clearly, if he not banned he needs to get a win or two before fighting for world title again.

He might end up like the ranting Berbick or the paranoid Ibeabuchi. That's a worry.

While I don't respect this kind of argy (my favourite boxer was Patterson), it has created interest in the four heavies. There was always professional interest because each man has weaknesses - especially following Vitali's apparent fade, but the K2 fights were hard to make without sufficient public backing. If Haye and Chisora fight and one of them wins convincingly, there'll be money on the table for them and a brother.

To be honest, I don't think any of the fights look like classics in the making, but as with Khan-Peterson, the pre-fight personalities are enough to generate intrigue. (More so if you share my believe that Vitali's on the slide.)

I woke this morning to my mate ringing and telling me that Chisora and Haye were fighting like crazy after the Klitschko fight, Chisora threaten to shoot Haye with a shotgun and Haye has done a runner as the police are after him, and my mate is not even a boxing fan!

Ok, he exaggerated the shotgun part but people are talking about it and it's all over the news. Good publicity? No, but it's still got people talking about boxing.

People seem to be seeing Dereck in two seperate lights this evening. One is negative because of he actions towards Vitali and Wladimir and the other is positive because he tried to fight Vitali which was the opposite of what Haye did with Wladimir, as if that somehow makes him heroic or justifies his behaviour. Chisora fought a predictable fight in coming forward and trying to land his right hand, whilst having very little success with anything else, as the judges scorecards showed. He adopted the same tactics as he did in the Helenius fight which were never going to be succesful against Vitali, who, i might add, would have knocked Chisora out had he not been a slightly shop soiled 40 year old fighter who has been fed easy defences for the last few years.

I don't think Chisora deserved his title shot when it was first announced way back and subsequently cancelled by the Klitschko's. Since that time Chisora has lost to Tyson Fury and was denied a points win over Helenius, but he simply wasn't ready for a world title shot, as he himself stated at the end of the fight. You can't blame Chisora for taking his chance to earn a few quid, but actually moving in Vitali's general direction and throwing a few punchesin comparison to Haye's challenge of Wladimir doesn't make you the pride of British boxing. The only suprise tonight was that Vitali wasn't more physically imposing and dominant in the fight and Chisora managed to go the distance, but whether you argue if he won four rounds or three or possibly five rounds, in my eyes he was ccomfortably beaten.

His behaviour was not only disgusting and unacceptable, in was verging on the sinister. You do not slap an opponent at the customary stare down, not least a champion of Vitali's calibre, someone who always conducts himself well and deserves more respect. Secondly, you do not spit out water into anyones face, least of all another credible champion in Wladimir. Whether Wladimir came in the dressing room as Chisora was wrapping his hands or whether Chisora felt aggrieved over the cancelation of the initial bout, it is something you do not do and again, Wladimir deserves more respect than was given to him by Chisora. You can try and justify Chisora's actions by saying it was all done for Hype to get a re-match or a shot at Wladimir, but some things are beyond the pale.

The next thing i hear is that Chisora is mouthing about wanting to kill haye and apperently the two of them end up in a semi brawl involving Adam Booth. Now Haye was clearly there to be seen and heard, to watch how much Vitali has declined and then throw his hat into the ring, as he duly did when interviewed after the fight. I thought you were retired David ? Obviously the plan is to beat Vitali and then gain a re-match with Wladimir if the public would stomach that fight again. This last 24 hours has been horrendous for British heavyweight boxing and Chisor's behaviour and antics are at the very centre of it all. Dereck will never be world title material, despite Warren's stupid opinion and certainly not against the Klitschko's. His behaviour should see him never get a title shot again and he didn't even deserve this one. The whole this has been an embaressing pantomine and Chisora should be ashamed of himself.

Might be, but then I think winning AT LEAST 4 or 5 rounds is equally ludicrous.

At least 5 implies that there is even a case of him winning a 6th round.... so a draw????

I gave Sosnowski two rounds against Klitchsko - 3rd and the 6th I think it was.... if memory serves me it wasn't a shut out on any of the cards. I gave Chisora 3 rounds.

Sonsowski got KO'd cause he was completely spent cause of the effort he made. I feel in some of those early/mid rounds Chisora could have done more, he exerted far more pressure against Helenius.
