Re: HW SEASON WEEK 37 MATCHUPS
Jeffries will fight Bowe if he can't get a title shot.
Re: HW SEASON WEEK 37 MATCHUPS
Is we gettin' close? ONce again Corbett will fight anyone....except anyone Crease says he can't should'nt or won't fight. Crease's will may well be Corbett's commmand.
Jeanette can fight ANYONE IF an eligible candidate is unwilling to step up. Eligible candidates being anyone from his alphabet soup list with the exception of those who incurred a loss last week. If he must go outside the top 10, no one with a loss on their record last week will be considered for his alphabet belt.
Since the last thing Joe's manager said is "he will fight anyone" or words to that effect, I will choose a suitable challenger in the absence of a choice being expressed. To be clear If no choice is expressed I will listen to all opinion's, weigh them carefully, then make a decision that will be final.
I'll run this sometime toward the end of the week.

They're the two fighters in the top 10 that didn't lose their last fight. As Johnson is the higher ranked of the two, Jeffries thinks it only fair that Johnson be given the shot. Should Johnson change his mind then Jeffires will step in. Otherwise he'll fight Bowe.Deadendgeneration wrote:Jeffries will fight Bowe if he can't get a title shot.

Sorry Buzz, I've been missing for a while so I'm a bit out of touch. You can match Jeannette with the highest ranked eligible opponent.BoxBuzz wrote:Is we gettin' close? Baer will fight Kevin McBride.

The Undisputed Lonsdale Lineage champion (And ABC Belt holder's) Management team has spoken. Jeanette-Johnson it is!
Re: HW SEASON WEEK 37 MATCHUPS
Regarding Ezzard Charles IBF Heavyweight Title:
Only Lennox Lewis and James Jeffries are only remaining top 10 contenders elligible to fight him for it...
As such, would either of these Managers - SAV or DEADENDGENERATION
like to drop their fights for this week for an IBF Title shot?
As contenders are so limited, the first Manager who accepts the shot gets it.

Crease....as an administrator, you should not be pointing out errors in judgement by the various management teams. If they have overlooked an opportunity it is their problem. The onus should be on THEM to pursue such matrimony. We should not be playing the part of Cupid. Though unintended, your acts could serve to embarass those who quietly seek to have no issue made of their "quiet avoidance" of facing major talent.
However no one can stop you from making such errors of judgment. And if this behavior continues there will of course be no consequence, other than the price paid in the loss of "social capital" based on such misguided vigilance.

I'm not arsed about The Juice and only want to be managing Dempsey so can skip me there.

Make it happen. Jeffries v Charles it is.

yeh signed it is
Re: HW SEASON WEEK 37 MATCHUPS
But that is not in the true gladiatorial spirit. Champions should always defend their titles... I have merely highlighted the few possible candidates left to enter the arena against our reigning IBF Champ.BoxBuzz wrote:Crease....as an administrator, you should not be pointing out errors in judgement by the various management teams. As such, the fight has been made and justly so and I commend both DEG's and P4P1's warrior spirit.

Corbett will face any of these and deliver a boxing lesson to them.

Re: HW SEASON WEEK 37 MATCHUPS
I may run this tonight........
I'm open to suggestions for the "unmatched"
and/or I may simply make an executive decision and match them to please my sense of propriety....or sense of humor.....whatever mood I may be in. I will honor all manager decisions that arrive ahead of the matches getting underway.
Have Tyson and Foreman faced off this season? I think they have.

Sorry just seen this now: (it might not matter that much anymore - but just in case you decide to match fighters up again)BoxBuzz wrote:Have Tyson and Foreman faced off this season? I think they have.
By my records:
Tyson and Foreman have only fought once:
Week 1: Mike Tyson vs George Foreman - Tyson won by Unanimous Descision.
