Officials for Cleverly-Karpency

Post by Old bones Ian »

The ref will be Terry O’Connor, while the judges are Waleska I. Roldan, Fernando Laguna-Yanes, and Richie Davies.

So the WBO couldn't find a ref from anywhere else but the UK?

I can see an early stoppage coming up.

I would imagine the timekeeper's going to be quite important in this one.

As long as he can manage to count to ten, like.

Wouldn't put your money on that mate, Karpency only been down once in his career and never stopped and Cleverly isn't a puncher at all

If Karpency is any better at all than Bellew he might win this...

Clev has not taken this fight lightly, he is fitter and faster for this fight than the Bellew fight.

Give his poor level of opposition, I wouldn't make conclusions about Karpency's durability. It's not a durability issue anyway, it's a class issue.

Karpency is going to take a lot of punches, and O'Connor will step in immediately when the opportunity arises.

Most certainly is. Poor, poor opponent for an alleged World Champion. And its ref'ed by O'Connor??? Just noticed that, in which case, Clev will win with a flurry of punches which dont land much but O'Connor will jump in, just like Crusader says :TU:

Especially if Karpency has already roughed Cleverly up a bit.

Funny how Cleverly is not a Liverpool fan no more with Cardiff playing them in cup final.
