How is this? I thought it had to be a number of defences in the one weight category?

As i understand it four wins at any weight and you win it outright.

Is this the 4th TV show in Sheffield in March?

Maloney, Matchroom, Hatton and now Hennessy all promoting there in the same month.

Proof that promoters seriously are mad.

They did ,witter winning decision, it seems lonsdale belt is won if you win it four times at any weight.Lynes looked back to top form beating Purdy.

If Witter can win this what level do you think he is capable of boxing at, I didn't see him in Prize Fighter but I loved the way he used to fight and he seemed like a top bloke.

i only hope the judging will be fair. what sort of nick is witter in - how much has he got left? anyone know? lynes was really good last time out but 12 rounds is getting to be a journey for him. witter cant relish the long haul either these days.

lynes by close decision looks a good bet.

I`m not keen on Witter, he just rubs me up the wrong way.

I used to find his fighting style fun to watch, but these days it`s all grappling and one punch at a time stuff. I can`t get excited about a Witter fight.

Thats the thing he cant compete at world level now, y stick around at british level. I wouldnt want him fighting to long and end up like roy jones jr.

I think Lynes takes this comfortably at this stage of their careers, Witter has had far too many massive gaps in his career and now it's all just caught up with him.
