Ball is a tough lad, the only time he was down was a slip, good right hand, but defence not the best, Al Harbi good defence, skillfull, fast may have too much tools for Ball.

I'll be there and am particularly looking forward to the second Birmingham-Black Country fight on the bill, the vacant British Masters middleweight scrap between Terry Carruthers and Kevin McCauley. That'll be a good ten-rounder between two evenly-matched, hard-working warriors who are capable on their day. Definitely, for my money, a 50-50 affair.

As for Al Harbi-Ball, I've seen both of them enough over the years to know who has the edge in every department - Al Harbi. But i think it's going to be interesting, especially if Ball manages to put the pressure on Nasser, who has yet to face a southpaw in a competitive bout in the paid ranks, from the off. I can see Al Harbi taking control, though, and possibly forcing a stoppage in the last couple.

Either way, the fight-going public of the Midlands are the winners come March 16.

How could you say this should of been the English title fight? Did you see Ochieng vs Quigley on Sky? It was better than the main event (Carl Frampton)
Anyone of these fighters will find it very hard to beat Ochieng. I haven't seen Ball fight but Nasser will definitely struggle against Ochieng. I think Ochieng is in a different class. If you look at both of these guys records they have fought very poor fighters and Nasser didn't have his own way against Lee Noble. Ochieng fought much harder fighters.

Rubbish Ochieng was totally dominated by a basic opponenent when he lost and quigley only won by a split decision against a poor Harkin and then lost to LLoyd Taylor, who has plenty of losses, so what if their fight was good, that don't mean nothing, next if Carruthers and McCauley is fight of the year you will be calling for the winner to fight for the British Title, go back and troll through the records, because you don't know anything about boxing. If and it is a big IF Ochieng defends against the winner of Al Harbi and Ball as he is supposed to, then you will see.

I remember a similar conversation just before the Ochieng v Quigley fight and you was getting very emotional. Is Nasser your friend because if he is I can understand why you get so sensitive when he is mentioned. I have seen some of the messages regarding Nasser and i see you do get very emotional. Remember its just an opinion and you started this thread and we are just commenting. Both Nasser or Ball haven't fought someone of the quality of Liam Cameron... that is not a opinion that is a fact!

Don't try and be smart mate, it's quite apparent what and who you are, how stupid are you, you know who I am, if you have been trolling, as you have said, haters will always hate because they are losers. If you remember every conversation on the forums you can't have life.

All i'm saying is good to have passion but not too much emotion because if you are personally connected to a boxer, sometimes open forums are not the best place to get peoples opinion. All the best to Nasser and no hard feelings.

Only opinions, no hard feelings mate, come to the fight if you can, I am sure when you have seen Al Harbi in the flesh, you will change your mind about him, all the best.

I have seen him and his very good and very fast but lacks power and in long fights it could be a factor. I think there is a time and a place to be flash and if your not knocking out fighters I think you should concentrate soley on your boxing I few times he has been caught trying to be a bit flash, but his young and these thing could be rectified.

Talkischeap wrote:Mcato you seem to have a thing about judging fighters for performances against Lee Noble. Boxing news had Lee Noble beating Brian Rose for the English title on his day Lee is a job for ANY lightmiddle domestically. Shall we judge Brian Rose for his performance against Manoo Salari or Pacquiao`s performance against Terrecampo ? or do we put it down to being early in their careers & simply part of their learning.
Lee Noble knocked out top unbeaten prospect Pat Mcleese to win the British Masters title if you remember and as shocked a lot of good fighters, When Nasser Al Harbi fought him, Nasser was supposed to fight a welter and was under 11 stone two days before the fight, the fight fell through, so we was offered Noble who was due to fight a week later in a ten rounder against Kerry Hope, so he was fit, Noble's camp told us he would be 11st 10 Ilbs, because his fight was at Middleweight next week, it was a case of take the fight or no fight, so I told Nasser to eat well and Nas went up to 11st 6Ilbs, then Noble weighed in at 12st 2ILbs, so a big weight advantage, then Nasser controlled the fight and we thought won easily, so did nearly everyone else there, Nasser hardly got touched, never had a mark on him, were as Noble face was bleeding and swollen, I have the video and I have shown it to many people, yet nobody agreed wiith Judges verdict of just a point win for Nasser, maybe iit was because Noble just lived down the road from the venue, so was a local, were as Nasser lives about 89 or 90 miles away, who knows, who cares.
