As of yet, numerous fighters have made "I'll fight anyone" pledges, and many of these are still outstanding:
BENGULNACI - SONNY LISTON
ARMAGETO - JIMMY ELLIS
DARREL MADISON - DARREL MADISON

And James Jeffries has offered a title shot to Harry Wills.
:TU:

And Lennox Lewis has rejoined the talent pool and is not available for recruitment.

Seeing that the Moore and Norton fight has been arranged for this week how about after Moore KO's Norton then next week Schmeling will get his shot.

Sorry, in just 2 weeks you've managed to kill the belt. Schmeling is no longer interested.

If Wills is running scared the Jeffries would also like to offer a shot to Big George.

Zombie Joe?
Sure, Quarry will take that fight. Quarry likes to fight the best because he enjoys the feeling of scrambled brains more than Zombie Joe likes the taste of Scrambled Brains.

Crease / BB, if neither Wills nor Foreman reply to Jeffries offer a title shot what will happen? Surely he can't be stripped for them pair being too scared???

Let's wait and see what happens... But it will be noted that you made every attempt to defend your titles.

Memo:

Re: Championship status in the face of fear/cowardice/laziness/stubborness by other opponents.

No penalty will be imposed on champions who avail themselves and no one steps up. THE ROCK faced this problem over the course of this season and there is precedent set on this matter.

However: I believe that some of the managers of available opponents have put out the message that their man "will face anyone". If so the highest ranked opponent of that pool will be chosen and slated for the championship shot.

Sincerely,
Your beloved and esteemed acting commish.

Hence the challenges set, of the opponents ranked by both organisations, Wills is ranked 2 and 3, Foreman 3 and 4. Fraizer is also ranked by both bodies but has a fight signed. If neither fighter wants it then perhaps Fraizer's opponent could be paid some step aside money.
