Chris is a good, solid kid and stands a good chance. Alright, he is the underdog but he's had great preperation sparring more than a hundred rounds with Gavin Rees. I'll be willing the kid on, and he's better prepared than ever before - if it goes the distance then I think Chris will win it but you can never count out Carl's power. Good luck Chris Goodwin, top man!! :TU:

Machoman Chris did good. He's a tough kid and they did a lot of rounds together that were very beneficial to both!

CJ is past his best but he can still bang and has operated at least 2/3 levels above anything Goodwin has ever come near to, to be honest. In fairness all I've seen of Goodwin is via youtube, etc and I'm well aware that there are those on here who have seen much, much more of him than me, but if Carl has much left at all he will just walk through Goodwin mid rounds in my opinion. Goodwin's sole win of note is against Munika, and in all fairness Munika is little more than a win one, lose one fighter whose biggest success has been a draw against a raw as hell Lee Purdy and a win over Ryan Barrett who had been on a good (although very protected run) and was struggling at 135 at the time. Plus he is ancient at the weight.

Full respect to Goodwin if he pulls this off and it could be an inspired bit of match making in picking the right moment. I'd give him a good shot over a 6 six rounder but I can see him getting busted up over 12.

Shame this isn't on TV. Can't comment as haven't seen anything of Goodwin but assuming Johanneson has got something left he must start a solid favourite. Good fight this.

Think The Scorecards Where Goodwin 96-95 And 97-95 & 99-93 Johnnasen Very Good Fight And Undercard Had Some Good Scraps. One Lad Sold Over 500 Tickets Think He Was Called Sean Masher Dodd. Great Atmosphere.
