Archie Moore's birthdate

When, back in 2005, I downloaded from BoxRec Archie Moore's record, the birthdate listed was Dec. 13, 1913. Now, I learn it's been changed to Dec. 13, 1916. I wonder why, and if the information provided to change it is beyond dispute.

Moore shows up in the 1920 US Census records as being "4"
