A puncher out of Mexico: Lenny Valdez

Looking back, it's surprising this guy never got a title shot in the 80's. A big puncher with a delicate chin it seems - he had some decent wins too.

Knocked out Freddie Roach and Stevie Cruz in big upsets I remember, but sort of lost track of him after that.

Looking at his record, ex featherweight Lenny made a comeback at a wopping 155 1bs in 1999, getting knocked out by middleweight contender
Nicolas Cervera ( which tells us how padded his record was! )

Anyone remember Lenny?

Yes I remember Lenny. Odd, but the other day his name came up. I saw him fifght live twice I think.
