Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame

Post by -KOKid- »

Does there exist a Hall of Fame for amateur boxers? If not, is there anywhere else (website) which rates or lists amateur boxers through history?

There is no hall of fame for former amateur boxers. There is no central list or rankings.

It would be nice if boxing records were available, however keeping track of 20,000+ U.S. boxers, let alone those outside of the U.S., would be pretty impossible. Since amateur boxing and pro boxing are two separate sports, with different criteria for ranking, there wouldn't be much interest in a Hall of Fame. We don't have "pound for pound" rankings and our rankings are based on a competition numbers system in 3 national ranking tournaments and international events.

I do carry the current rankings on my web site - http://www.amateurboxing.com.
