Its a shame to be proven right with Dallas as i said he would go no where,Skelton looks to be back in the title mix again now at 45

Whatever i thought of Dallas,he was prob ranked in the top 10 in UK&so im assuming Skelton will take his ranking&be nearer a British title shot... Not hard to work out

So again boxing is reduced to 2 levels - you're either champion material or a bum. Dallas's level is somewhere around English title on his best night, Masters / Southern Area on a standard night. Skelton proving that doesn't move Matt into a higher "level" especially when he has done nothing in the last 3-4 years to suggest he deserves title shots.

If anything, Dallas should fall to Skeltons ranking rather than Matt rise to Toms ranking.

Skelton-Big Larry could be the next step for the English,if he wins that then whos knows...But after beating Dallas like i said he will take his ranking,i doubt Skelton would have been rated after being out the ring for a while,so Dallas couldnt drop to his...After Chisora,Fury,Price,Mcdermott&Sexton there is no one,so i wouldnt be surprised if Skelton does get a shot at some point,after beating a overated fighter...

i think dallas made skelton look good an end to dallas career really i'd like to see skelton keep active now no time to waste especially at 45 its def last chance saloon.

I think its more to do with expectations - to get to the level people were expecting dallas to get to, he needed to be beating guys like matt skelton. Skelton has now proved he still has some potential to make and impact on the domestic scene even if its a couple of competative fights against top domestic class fighters nobody's expecting him to do much more than that. Dallas could probably stay competative at the 2nd tier domestic level but as for a top tier career (british or world) he hasnt got one.

The manner of his loss was terrible.

It was painful to watch at times, Dallas has a decent chin but he was taking flush shots and just offering little in return. He kept going back in straight lines and onto the ropes, he made it incredibly easy for Skelton.

That said, when he did get the jab going late in the fight and stop going backwards, Skelton looked a bit clueless and short of ideas until he just bored forward with his head down.

The ropes were a bit loose too!

I think Skelton deserves more credit than hes getting here, Dallas is limited but Skelton on that form would be a tough fight for any of the top British heavies at the moment, including Price and Fury. Was a bad fight for Dallas to come back with really as he seemed short on confidence and really needed to go back to the drawing board technically and build up back with some easy wins before facing someone like Skelton.

This one was ridiculous ending to a fight with Skelton leaning over the ropes & virtually bitch slapping Dallas on the face who was almost falling out of the ring.

Dallas's performance was shocking. This guy is better off going into wrestling as a good guy. He could walk in wearing a Texan hat as "Texan Tom Dallas". He doesn't seem to have a place in a real ring.
