Wlodarczyk v Tarver in April

Post by amwsnw »

Just saw Tarver has tweeted he is fighting Wlodarczyk in April in a unification bout.
I also read elsewhere that he apologised to Green that they couldnt work out a rematch.
Interesting match up.

Tarver should win, i think the Polak will rally late again when his behind on points, could end up interesting.

Still would love to see Greeny rematch Wlodarczck.

I think Tarver will win, but the Pole looked rusty against Green, he might of been able to stop Green earlier, if he hadn't tried to do himself in a few months before the fight, so the fight could be interesting.

So Greeny's life threating operation in Febuary that year can be factored into his 2 only stoppage defeats of his career in the same year, according to your reasoning.

I reckon you would be all over Green still, even if he knocked Vatali out.

You should fight him Mark, but you should only be paid your value, as you know most of Greens opponents get paid very, very, very well, more than all your fights combined x 100, so it would only be fair that you recieve your value, and you can show us how Green is'nt much chop!

Once again why does it have to get personal? The people that get the most personal on here don't put there proper names funny that. Anyway when did I say Green is not much chop? Trying to twist my words, was it you that said before that I would never be asked to fight on a Green promotion because I bag him? Maybe I should suck up to people. I don't know about you but I suck up to no one.

Mark nothing personal, just reading between the lines, i've stated my name here before mate and have no qualms with doing so.

There's no fear here mate, i write what i see and how i see it, sometimes that rubs you up the wrong way, thats fine i respect your opinion, but i'll have mine from time to time as well on people i respect, and in no way what is written by yourself in regards to greeny apt.

Getin the ring mate, you need to, a couple of fights here and there wouldn't hurt, no fights = no market value.

I would have to agree with Mark on this one. It has to be plain commonsense that sum1 in such a bad state mentally that they attemp to top themselves could not expect to be in prime condition in a sport that requires peak mental as much some may even say more than peak physical conditon. A few months surely wouldnt be enough to get that mental toughness / beleif will to fight, will to live. We all know a happy fighter is a better fighter.

I would also have to agree that any majpr operation wouldnt help either. Which is more a determining factor depends maybe on your strengths as a fighter to how much either scenario would effect you.

Dannys a great fighter. So is Wlodarczyk but IMO Tarver is the best in the division. He also has had his own demons to conquor.

hey boxhead please enlighten me to the characterstics you see in a boxer to make them worthy of your praise ?? You seem to think Green is a bum !! give me a break. The guy won a title, defended against a fella who's undefeated, then took on two of the three (some would say 1 & 2 in the world) best cruisers out there in succession. How does this qualify him to be a bum ??

Wlodarczyk wasnt rusty because he tried to top himself, and I think I would probably best suited to make that judgement. Maybe he took his time because he respected Danny and his power. When the result reads "won KO", no-one really cares what round it was in, and I find it it the more intelligent boxers that have KO wins in the mid to late rounds. The ones who start out trying to go for the big early win soon find themselves undone. I though Krystov fought an intelligent fight and Tarver would have his work cut out. We'll see if it ever comes off - would be a good contest :TU:
