What year and country do you think had the best group of boxers?

1976 U.S squad was really good, most likely America's best. But what was the greatest overall squad, as well as the best teams sent by the Cubans and Soviet Union.

Any info: team members, coaches, results at and prior to that Olympics, claimed records going into the games, all welcome and appreciated.

The 1992 Cuban Olympic Team was probably the best. Seven gold and two silver medals. Some all-time greats as Hector Vinent, Ariel Hernandez, Felix Savon and Roberto Balado. Plus Rogelio Marcelo, Joel Casamayor, Juan Hernandez Sierra and Juan Carlos Lemus.

At the 1908 Games in London British boxers took all Five Gold medals, Four Silver & Five Bronze Medals.

Since then we have found it hard to enter anymore than one Boxer if Any!

although you have to remember the 1908 england judges were the most corrupt ever
