Read what I have said ! I said that there was not a stone difference in their weights on the night and that is the night of the official weigh in, I am not talking about the next day, boxers weights on fight night can differ greatly everybody knows that.

Having presided over 1000's of weigh in's I was saying that on the day of the official weigh in there was only a couple of pounds difference between them, after that they can eat what they like, but on the day they must be within a few pounds of eachother otherwise as I said the board would not allow it.

There must only be a few pounds between the weights on fight night ?
Since when ?
Give me one example of a fight called off by the Board after both fighters weighed in at the official weight, then one of them ended up a stone heavier than the other.
And please don't tell me it doesn't happen.

regarding the weights for the Mark Thompson Vincent Vuma contest there certainly was not a stone difference on the night.

Of course there wasnt a stone difference at the actual weigh in, that would be stupid for a light middle contest! Everybody is talking about "ON THE NIGHT" - who the feck talks about the night of the weigh in, plus if I remember correctly they weighed in early afternoon, so even by the Thursday night Vuma would've been significantly bigger.

So after 2 years out Mark makes his return, i for one am glad to see him back in the ring, he was an exciting boxer. Having just turned 30, he can't delay in getting back to championship level. I can see maybe 2 warm up fights before stepping him back up , if he looks good there are some exciting match-ups for him at domestic level .

looks a decent comeback bout on paper, considering thompson been out for a few years, corcoran just come back after a few years out also with a couple of wins, he has ability. obviosly thompson is favourite, how do people see this bout going?? i presume its over 6 or 8 rounds.
