Just withdrawn means he can reapply in the future.

Cant reapply for a minimum of 6months but the board could keep him out for aslong as they see fit.

In theory yes but cant see them giving him one. He will be making a trip to Latvia if he wants a fight.

The suspension is likely to be enforced by all countries that are members of the European Boxing Union, so unless someone offers him a fight outside Europe, Chisora probably won't be lacing'em up anytime soon.

Doesnt his criminal record make it even harder for him to get a license in the us or does it depend on what you did?

I'm not sure it sounds weak, after a life ban that's probably the worst possible outcome for him. He's been declared unfit to hold a license end of. How does he prove he is fit to box in this country again? Stay out of trouble for a while I suppose.

Looking at it another way, they have issued an indefinite ban. If Del wants to regain his licence, the onus is on him to demonstrate to the Board that he is suitably rehabilitated. If not, he is refused.

Any other decision would have attracted criticism for being too harsh or too lenient. To me it seems a reasonable, sensible approach.

If that's what it takes and it's genuine, then what's the problem?
