BCAA

Post by 'Frilla »

Any of you blokes on Branched Chain Amino Acids?

If so, which one, im looking for a new brand and probably a better tasting one. Ive been taking Xtend and although it works pretty well, it can taste horrible if mixed too strong sometimes.

If you're looking for pure BCAA's, try them from Optimum nutrition. I have their Orange flavor at the moment, and it's pretty good tasting. They also have a BCAA energy supplement with caffeine in it. The grape flavor of that was one of the best tasting supplements I've ever had, but the caffeine really got to me.

Both the protein I take, and moreso the recovery are full of BCAA's. Don't take any extra - but I've noticed it massively with the recovery drink vs one I used to take without BCAA's.

Yeah having BCAA's in your protein definitely helps. Im taking around 26-30 grams of BCAA spread out through the day.
