"With regard to David Haye, he is not a licence holder of the British Boxing Board of Control who consequently have no jurisdiction over him. Probably depends on how much money he has or can make for an already rich person.

I don't think people realise that getting a licence in America is probably harder because the commissions are strict over there. If a boxer gets his licence withdrawn from him in the UK it is highly unlikely he will get one in the US until he gets the UK one back.

It is not really that surprising in all honesty with all of the outcry that came following Chisora's utterly appalling conduct pre and post fight that Board of Control probably had no choice but to do it to show such acts are not acceptable by an active British fighter to save the sport from being damaged further so there is a PR edge to the decision to be seen to acting tough but quietly that might give it back to him in a while.

Saying that if either one had a fight against a big enough name in Germany, the Germans or any other country would be happy to comply.
