Brook looked amazing there! His ring generalship and dictation of the pace of the fight was superb, he controlled the range beautifully as well. Really think they should get Berto for him!

If alvarez and Brook cant stop him i doubt Frankie could.
Gavins volume of punches and accuracy would have the ref step in I promise you, don't be supprised to see the fight made this year.

It's a fight i'd like to see mate but promotional differences may object.

Gavin-Hatton would be a good fight to be made IMO. Intresting match up, I really do think Gavin is top class when his head is 100%, be a brilliant step up for him

Im a big fan of gavin but to be honest mate i dont see anythin behind your arguments with the exception of being biased towards gavin.
Brook fighting Gavin would be a step back for Brook
Gavin fighting Hatton would be risky match making as Gavin is hit and miss, Dont think Gavin would have the power to keep Hatton off him.

As for Brook, personally i wanna see Brook in with Maidana.
If He deals with him convincingly then it puts him up another level and gives more backing towards a fight with Khan whos performance against Maidana was entertaining whilst leaving a few question marks.
Khan would be very unlikely to ever give maidana a rematch so if kell gets a W against him he will have everyone backing the fight hes been wanting for years.

Don't apologise for having that opinion especially as it's a good one.

Kell did what i thought he would do tonight but i still won't be impressed untill he beats more then fringe contenders like Hatton and that polish guy.

Totally agree Ortiz, Berto and Khan beats him pretty comfortably although he may have a chance against Mike Jones who isn't anything special.

In truth I think Kell v Jones is 40-60, but 10-90 against the big 3 (if you disregard the untouchable PBF + Pacman)

Khan would annihilate Brook, i don't know how you can make that statement based on anything Brook has done so far?

No, but you could based on what Khan has. I wouldn't say annihilate. Think it would be an even fight. Khan can be hurt and Brook could capitalise on it.

I also think the same. The fight tonight was quite predictable really and whilst Hatton is game, he is nowhere near being a world class fighter. The way people talk about Brook is way over the top. He looks a very good fighter, but he hasn't been in with any real talent as yet, someone that has been around the world scene and won a world title fairly recently. Someone like Devon Alexander would be a good fight for Brook. The one thing that he hasn't got is punch power and you need that at world level. Canelo couldn't stop Hatton, so he definately has a good chin, but when Brook loads up he doesn't really look like he has any great power. I think in a weaker division he would win a world title, but 147lbs is the best division at the minute and i can't see him winning a world title at all. I too think that the likes of Berto and Ortiz would be too much for Brook, whilst Khan would be way to fast for him.

Agreed. Hatton isn't a Top 20 Welterweight let alone a Top 10 one so as usual in boxing a lot of hyped guys like Brook is all about careful match making and smoke and mirrors but i'll give him credit when he fights a genuine Top 10 welter like Mike Jones, Ortiz, Berto, Alexander or Brad Solomon.

We Brits do like to hype our fringe contenders apropos of a lot of conjecture, but very little that is concrete.

I said i fancy Brook to beat him, never exactly said it was a definite.
Khans speed is what overwhelms most people, Brook is quick, Hard to hit and khan struggled to pin down mcloskey who is below Brooks level.

If khan ever faced Brook and blew him away then id hold my hands up and say i was wrong but i would fancy brook to beat him. Maybe after one or two more fights he would be ready for him.

To me Brook is nearer Khans level than Khan is near Mayweathers and he likes to say he could take him so my opinion isnt exactly the most controversial in history
