No i boxed for my dad at bulwell scots grey then moved to st geogre when my dad packed up, You can come up anytime shane trains their as well.

Calum Cooper and Tommy both made winning debuts endof last month both looked good doing so.

Pheonix at first then one called terry allen unique , which is in lincoln , but personally never heard of it other than leigh boxing out of it

No the best one is Nasser Al Harbi at only 22 years old, much younger then most of them on here and more talented, everyone in birmingham knows it, but they wont put his name down, some of the people mentioned are future journeymen.

Nobody wants to fight him he is a young unbeaten kid, he is born and bred in birmingham, but ignored as a prospect, by people who are supposed to know who is who amongst the prospects. So these posts should be taken with a pinch of salt.

To be fair Naji even though Nas is only 22 he has won a challenge belt so cant really be classed in the prospect mode anymore.I think of prospects under ten fights and not won any major belts.

EIf he hadnt wont that belt or had less than ten i dont think anyone could deny hes a top prospect but for me hes more contender level

He was not considered before he won that title or when he was under 10 fights and some try to de-value his title, so people can't have it both ways, yet he has been avoided in the industry till Ball faced him last night and Ball who is 27 and at his peak was having real problems with Nasser who at only 22 is only at about 60% of what he will be like at 26 or 27 years old, the ref had Nasser winning all the rounds and Ball was hurt few times and looking worse for wear till the head clash and a small little cut that stopped bleeding was ruled by the ref and doctor severe enough for a stoppage technical draw and robbed Nasser from a great win.

Shane was never consider a prospect but hardwork and heart will get people taking note. He got to british champ by taking risk not being the home fighter and going in there back yard. People will start hearing about your man when they see is talent and heart.

Yeh to be fair he was never considered for midlands prospect of the year which wasnt fair.If i had put this up a year earlier hed have been on my list but like i say at this stage is see him more contender than prospect.

What i meant here is these posts were made after Nas had won a WBC title so i expect people wasnt looking at him in prospect mode at this stage

Chris Keane, for me, is one of the Midlands' finest-looking prospects. For a cruiserweight, he's skillful, speedy and has a rapid jab.

Aside from that, in the ten fights or less category, i like the look of Craig Cunningham [a right-leading switcher who impressed me with a punch-picking four-round victory over solid Steve Spence on Friday], Ryan Aston, Tommy Ghent, Andy Ingram and Callum Johnson.
