One exhibition fight...legitimate...and left undone.

Post by BoxBuzz »

One man actually has claim to a challenge by merit of an obscure by law, yet has not claimed his rightful option.

The season is over. It can not be official or for formal creditation of any kind, but perhaps it should take place.

Out in an open field, with minimum officiating and no knockdown rules. Purely a footnote to history.

and only if both managers are in agreeance.

Can anyone guess who the pariticpants would be?

If these two managers agree, the commision would look the other way, and impose no fines should it take place.

In the oddest sort of long shots possible....you are the two managers that would be making the decision.

Damn that's odd.

There were two Eunuchs this season. Johnson was given his access pass within the season.

Come to think of it Stribling never got a rematch for the Lonsdale after his draw, and he's since dispatched Schm, eling and Langford.

All you need is Joe's manager's willingness.

And to agree on an outdoor venue that is unofficial and untrackable by the authorities.

With a lot of payola, and mussing about with his wig. He lost his cool when the mop popped off.

Trump has inherited THE ROCK's old toupee, and died it a new color.

Nooo, I meant he beat Frazier easily. Unless you're telling me Smokin' Joe also wore a 'syrup'?

Has anyone ever had more title shots than Stribling without winning? (in sim history )

NINE times!!!

It would be nice to see if he could make it into double figures, or complete the fairly tail he deserves for his wins over Ali, Marciano, Schmeling and Langford. And Buzz is correct that he has a strong claim after his draw with Wills...

damn it Kevo, I was making a toupee joke, and you had to goof with it by pointing out that I'm confused.

Anyway Ali beat both Frazier and Marciano.

so that's not the event that has "legitimacy".

It has to be the rematch and third fight between Dempsey and Frazier.

OR

The third fight between the Rock and Dempsey.

Sonny would like to even up the score with either:

Ali (Ali leads 2:1, in series)
Holmes (LH leads 2:1, I think)
The Rock, never fought him or
Joe Louis (who leads 1:0)

I will be happy to run a single Post season set of exhibitions.

Gives me time to "sort out" some things for the next proposed season.

This is contingent on.......Once/if The managers of Stribling and Frazier are willing to approve of a bunch of vengeful fights located out in the wild/outback as support bouts to their providing the genuine headliner.

Once I get a clear answer I will go about the work of promotion for this singe exhibition. Only those who wish to be involved will be included.

Marciano would be callling out Dempsey for the non official rubber match. Once he runs we will announce our second coward....uh I mean choice.

And of course Corbett has always wanted to catch that Jack Rabbit Norton if he will quit running.

He has neither a "strong" nor a "weak" claim. He has a "legitimate" claim.

Does he wish to engage as a headliner over other bouts in a post season exhibition?

I thought I'd stretched myself getting De La Hoya to about seven, the way it can be in simland.
