Re: First Olympic Qualifier Oceania
Australia completed a remarkable qualifier by winning all nine finals this morning thus ensuring they will have ten boxers at the Olympics. In 2008 they qualified nine.
Re: First Olympic Qualifier Oceania
Should the fact the Joseph Parker, the Kiwi Superheavy, got ousted, and not even by the Australian, be considered an upset?
Edit: I just saw that the OP liked the Tongian to win it all.
Gotta say, there is a couple countries in there that I did not know existed

Re: First Olympic Qualifier Oceania
crazy that a nation not in maybe the world top 30 get all ten boxers to the Olympics, daft.
Re: First Olympic Qualifier Oceania
The Tongan superheavy is unbeaten in the WSB whilst Parker is not.For me the upset is Linde defeating Fa.
Oceanias boxers should face off against an European or Asian in a box-off before qualifying.
It is daft that they get all ten boxers through when Damian Hooper is their only real chance of a medal.
