No. Frazier did have a cinderella-like end to the season, but he spent too much of his time outside of the top 10 for any HOF entry.

The Mike Tyson I managed achieved more than just unification at the end of that particular season. He partly unified the titles on more than one occasion, was a multiple time Champ, beat most of the top fighters (the majority by KO) and would have fully unified sooner if it were not for Bowe's reluctance to fight him.

He will be remembered no doubt.

Though, the fact Frazier weren't a true, unified champion in the first place played against him in my decision.

Obviously if Dempsey won, I'd be keeping my mouth shut.

The fact that he was dominating Dempsey, and defeated him in there third fight actually stengthens my argument IMO.

Frazier finished in a legendary fashion, let both of them be enshrined!!!
Joe may have won "the fight of the century" here on the sim as in reality....but like life, his overall record may not lend him to be rated #1. I'm going to consider before I vote. I'm neutral leaning to yes at this point.

Dempsey was just getting on top. He has an incredible record of stopping fighters between the 12th and 15th rounds. Frazier had best part of the fight at the start.

And it must be noted that Dempsey was coming out of The Super Six - so he fought five top contenders leading into the Frazier fight.
And the fight was only stopped due to a hand injury - that should be noted too.

It being an Undisputed Champion really enough to make the Hall Of Fame?

In the past there have been multiple Undisputed Champions who were refused... Just saying.

And if Frazier is granted access - should we re-examine the former Undisputed Champions who never made it in?

The idea that he had it upon the very last week adds a degree of interest, especially this year where Frazier is concerned.

I'm still on the fence....

Apologies, Crease. I voted no.

The end of season win against was a good little achievement for him, but the fight in reality was a bit of a gimmick as Frazier weren't truely unified. The season on a whole I thought Frazier underperformed.

Also, too many fighters into the HOF in one season kinda' plays down the success of getting in.

No need for apologies, thanks for getting back to this.

I think so too, it's hard to get away from the fast that Frazier spent most of his time outside of the top 10 this season. And though being an Undisputed Champion is a great achievement - in the interests of consistency if Frazier is entered into the Hall based on the strength of that achievement, then every future Undipusted Champion should go in 9and we all know that somwhere along the line there's gonna be an average fighter who holds it)

Indeed. And if this were any other season Marciano probably would get in for his record. He's just been outshined by Dempsey and Ali.
