The guy is offering to undertake any people who have lost out on hotels etc whom are unable to come to the rearranged date by way of future ticket discounts etc. Despite it being beyond his control why the change was commercially required.
Now if that is not a sign of caring about your customer base, then I don't know what else.
Very kind gesture indeed - especially at a time where promoters are trigger happy killing one show after another despite taking ticket money.
Furthermore and more importantly, it gives faith to the operation, that if things unfortunately go belly-up, he will endeavour to remedy things for the good of the customer.

Doesn't effect me personally but it's the sort of thing promoters should do more often. Class move by the guy.
