Sorry mate, but I don't see your point.

Lionel rose defended his world Bantamweight title against Alan Rudkin, then Empire Bantamweight Champion. After winning the fight, Rose added the Empire title to his World and Australian titles as a matter of course.

Why? Because, being a citizen of a Commonwealth country and World champion he was obviously the best bantamweight in the Commonwealth.

In those days, pride & not $$$ was the name of the game.
Hence the reason very few Champs ended up with a coin to scratch themselves with. WBC, WBA & IBF & their promoters were in for $$$$$$$

What im trying to say, You shouldnt hang shit on regionals for doing the same thing the ANBF is doing. You say they fly in imports etc for easy wins, whats the diffrence if you have a mismatch between 2 Aussies or an Aussie vs Thai?

No good crying about how things used to be, there are more titles now, if its a good fight it doesnt matter what title it is.
