Why do you rate Kenny Anderson?

Post by crusader »

Anderson is highly lauded on these forums, but I'm not sure why, as his record is threadbare outside his win over a 20 year old novice (who just lost). For those who rate Anderson highly, is it solely due to the Groves fight? What do you see in him that I don't?

He's no world beater but he's a very capable fighter. The first time i saw him was when he fought Nathan King for the Celtic title that was a tough fight for him. I agree his level of opposition most of the time has been mediocre at best. I dont know why people rate him so much. He's tough and he can punch. It would be really good to see a Groves rematch to see where he's going.

I do mainly because he is so scary. When I meet him my knees knock (not that way) and I go all a-quiver. I dare not rate him in case you can see that opinion in my eyes, even if I wear shades.

Solid all-rounder. More of a Roy Keane enforcer than a flashy sort.

X 2, I'm convinced he would of beat groves after a 10 week training camp.
