Damn! Things really must be rocky by the tone of it. Very ominous for Sports Network.

Thats a huge story, I thought this Hatton/Warren thing was something that has been blown out of all preportion out of something that was said after Mayweather fight. Now though, this gives us a clear indication it is serious.

It a coup for Sky also, cause who would have thought one of the Hatton brothers would be appearing on their station again.

This though could be bad for Matthew in the long term, They are obviously very close and I'm sure would love to box under the same promotional Banner. I cannot see Matthew getting signed by a big US promotion and I cannot see Ricky fighting for FA.

FW is definately the man to guide Matthew's talents at Welter. He controls Jennings, Barnes, Doherty and has a good working relationship with others. Hatton could be now left out in the cold when your talking British title fights (which his his level).

It's been clear for a while now that this is a serious situation. The fact that a legal route was attempted by allegedly, means that things were serious, and also the fact that Ian got such a swift response to his piece.

That'll cause some gnashing of teeth over at Sports Network - hope old Ray knows what he's doing.

He's been called a "canny businessman"......but is he? Wonder what his track record is like. It's similar in a way to the Prince Naz situation: when Naz hit the big time his promoters got the heave ho and his family stepped in.

Difference with Hamed though, he had established himself as a world champion (partially unified) and made several defences under FW. Hatton is making this decision a tad to hastely if you ask me.

The difference is Hatton's father appears to be advising and they are touting Hatton to actual promoters. Whereas Hamed's brothers tried to take over his whole career including promoting. I doubt the Hatton camp will be as arrogant as the Hamed camp were when they left FW. In reality Hamed's camp had fornicate all idea what they were doing.

Wasn't Hatton supposed to be topping a ITV card in September against Ross Minter for the Englsh Championship? So why has he moved to FA to fight on an undercard?

No English title fight and the British title well tied up at SN shows what a shrewd and canny businessman his dad must be!

Whta the F#*k is going on at Team Hatton. Matthew is very average and will fade into insignificance and watch for Ricky to implode if he carry's on this way.

Inflated ego's or pure greed?

You have to admit that Matthew is going to a mere pawn in the game and, remember, he can't fight much either!

So where does he go from here, where's his family's loyalty to him in all this.

Matthew Hatton can hardly fight for Allegedly while the rest of his family are in dispute with him can they? Please tell me how exactly that would work?

Do you ever have anything good to say about anybody?

Matt wasn't forced to pull out of the fight, he chose to.

He's obviously a family man and I'd do the same in his situation.

Ray's his manager aswell as Ricky's, so how could he possibly still deal with FW on Matt's behalf?

I think they are making a mistake. R.Hatton should of stayed with FW for at least a couple fights. He is kinda messing up his brothers career in doing this too. I wonder what ITV have to say about this? No hatton for itv then? FW must be really pissed :box:
