I think he has a point.

Froch was awful in the Ward fight, after that performance I would be more confident of him pulling the upset in this fight if he was more contrite and humble.

Froch's boastful comments regarding this fight do not fill me with confidence.

Journalism is a loose word to describe what this is. Just seen some of what he has written in the past and his twitter account. Seems to be one jealous man who is pissed off with anyone who has made it. He sure does talk aload of shit.

I think that is possible. Froch's performance against Ward was surprisingly timid, it was like he didn't believe in himself.

I think Bute does believe in himself and he won't be intimidated by Froch.

I'm not going to bother reading the article, but I'm leaning toward Bute as well.

How does some illiterate guy online manage to convince a website to publish something of his under the guise of 'journalism' when it isn't any different to the inane blatherings of some of the worst posters on boxing forums? I don't know much about 'Boxing News 24' and I pretty much don't want to now.

Even this guy's name looks like a typo.

I did think that, he sounds like he'd be at home as a vilain on Doctor Who.

I fancy Bute strongly in this fight. Faster, both of hand and foot. Froch loses by a wide decision again.

Pretty weak journalism and his reasoning is poor. His prediction however, may not be far off the mark

Bute is unbeaten in 30 fights including 24 KOs. He is entitled to favoritism.

Most signs point to a Bute victory.

This guys reasoning is way off though.

I just hope Froch can take Bute to a dark place, see how he reacts. If Carl can I think Bute just might fold. Fighting way from home in a pretty hostile atmosphere can do things to a fighter.

Scott Gilfoid is just a pseudonym for website owner. He has numerous accounts with different names.

He puts food out for the trolls and they roll in to the website to leave comments and thus generate traffic income.

When Carl spoke directly after the Ward loss it sounded as if he realised that he needed to make some adjustments in his approach to training, and that his 'last man standing' attitude wasn't enough to beat a skilled fighter like Ward.

I really thought he meant it and would go back to the drawing board, but he's talking again like he did before all his big fights, he's going to be a warrior again essentially.

I think Carl can improve and use his jab and reach better than he has. He looked clumsy in some of the S6 fights. He was a world class amateur so its within him to box.

I think Bute beats him, but Froch will have some success.

Lots of respect though for Carl taking this fight.

Given your experience Gomez, will he actually make anything worthwhile out of it?

Shed loads i'd imagine. Boxing fans love to moan, and it provides a great vehicle for it.

Cheers :TU:

Woh, I'm suprised. Not about the moaning, just that he can make decent money with such an apparently simple scheme.

I didn't read the article, I asked Gomez a question and responded to his response. It had nothing to do with the article. But don't let facts get in the way of your characteristic btchn
