Purdy vs Amar

Only just caught this fight whilst watching an old ringside from last week.

It was a real see saw from what i could tell.

Adnan amar, i wonder how he made welter because he looked a different weight class in the ring - and quickly went from dominating to losing his legs and reflexes over just a couple of rounds. He definitely needs to step up to light-middle at least I think. He has plenty of ability but has clearly outgrown the division now. The rust hasn't helped him either.

Purdy is basic with his approach, but he certainly knows how to graft and Tony Simms has started getting him firing again.

Purdy vs Witter would be another interesting mesh of styles. Maybe it happens after the Lynes fight.

In my view Adnans single most costly issue is his lack of activity at times , Not always his fault i know .

Just seems that he has to at some point increase the level of opposition gradually so that hes not jumping from lower level to domestic titles in one leap as the different levels can seem a bigger jump if not done the right way .

Hes at a stage in which he would be used to boost a fighters profile on their way up right now rather than him being ready to move up himself .

I may be wrong but i thought he makes welter comfortably , Kamikaaze who posts on here is closer to him so maybe he can shed light on this .

Overall though i see Adnan Amar as someone who could have been more than he has been but will not reach that level now , if he wins a british title he will have done well , That should be what he tries to dedicate himself to achieving before his career comes to end , hes capable of doing it if he gets the rub of the green .
