Think he's being trained by his uncle Peter now, and using the Body Fuel team to help with nutrition

Did Fury say he was staying away from his family for 14 weeks until after the fight?

Fury needs some stability in his boxing set up. His manager/promoter ought to get things sorted with a good traner and a conditioner within a reasonable commute of Morcombe. Fury can fight and has guts in a fight. It'd be a shame if a young fellow didn't do his dues down to sillyness. Rogan will be in it to win and cannot be overlooked.

Tysons uncle is half nutter and half wise but Fury does need someone who'd show and explain to him how to capitalise on his strengths and sort out the faults.

IMO that could work well. It's just Fury seems so reluctant to settle with anyone, which is going to hurt him down the line. Has he not been putting some time in at the Ingles?

Ingles?? Doesn't he leave his chin out to dry enough already ffs? He needs a crash course in defensive fundamentals. Wedge a tennis ball under his chin and get his right hand used as protection. When he is under attack he panics in a manner ominously reminiscent of Audley. He's a kayo disaster in waiting.

Agree he looks like he needs sharpening up on everything though, fine tuning. He's looked worse in his last couple of fights, apart from showing a good fighting heart to come back from being hurt or decked.
What would be your main concern with his style at the moment?

My two year old granddaughter could be training him and it wouldn't matter. Fury's gonna smack Rogan all over the place. :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag:

I have heard him a few times say after fights that he has not had proper training, not had any proper sparring (and had to spar Phil Fury !!) etc. etc.

I just don't understand why he doesn't get himself settled with a trainer (whoever it is) and organise proper sparring - there is no shortage of big lads around, is it just that they don't pay well or something ?

Either way, it is not a good situation for his development.

He's regularly attended down at Wincobank but never been trained as such by Dom; not as far as i know anyway. The main reason he's been a regular is that he and Richard Towers have very competitive sparring that they both get a lot out of.

I have heard of Peter Fury but didn't know he was a boxing trainer!

I believe Chris Johnson's services have been dispensed with and Fury is now being trained by his Uncle (Peter Fury, not Hughie). That was the situation a month ago but it could have all changed.

He was sparring Darren Corbett as well. I'll speak to Corbie later and find out.

He's hooked up with loads of trainers - like Brian Hughes, Robert McCracken but ends up jacking.

Some of the best basically, to little avail.

Hennessy sorted some fantastic sparring over in Germany, I think he needs another couple of camps over there again.
