Re: Chisora lodges appeal and wants Haye
Why would David Haye want to fight Chisora?
Where would that fight take place and when?

Thought Warren didnt wanna promote this fight? Money talks as always. Haye would smash him to pieces in less than 3 rounds.
Re: Chisora lodges appeal and wants Haye
If he did it would be for the same reason he wanted to fight Audley, for a big payday due to public interest.Boxing Pirate wrote:Why would David Haye want to fight Chisora?
If it's true it means FW has done a complete 180 since the immediate aftermath of Wlad/Chisora. Will they be able to offer enough to tempt Haye out of retirement without PPV money?

About 47mins into this interview he says "it's not one I would do" at which point you can see Colin Hart trying not to laugh. But you are right he never said 'never'.MachoMan09 wrote:I seem to remember Warren chose his words rather carefully in the days following the scuffle between Haye and Chisora. He said things along the lines of (paraphrase) "I have no plans to promote a fight between Chisora and Haye" and that he didn't "think he would feel comfortable promoting a fight between the pair" (again paraphrase). Perhaps he has since put together plans and now realises he would feel comfortable promoting Chisora versus Haye. I haven't searched to see if there is a categoric statement from him saying he would never promote a fight between the pair. Maybe he did. Anyhow, he's a boxing promoter...
The weight of responsibility again falls onto the shoulders of the Board. If, firstly, Warren and then, as I expect to happen, Haye and Chisora start a media frenzy stirring up interest in (yet another over-hyped heavyweight showdown of) a fight, will the Board have the fortitude to stand by their decision to withdraw Chisora's licence? Time will tell.
If it does happen security will need to be tighter than the preverbal water bird arse. Might be a few too many excitable types in the crowd.

One of the best style matches in the division - as in world. If FW wouldn't put it on, someone else would. Far more exciting than a Vitali fight, but Haye only fights for money these days. After September's Vitali payday it will be his next best option so you never know

yep, and he retired after Maccarinelli lost to HayeG0mez wrote:Warren 'I will never promote Haye vs Chisora'

Yeah, right. Haye couldn't even do that to Monte Barrett.smoggy7188 wrote:Thought Warren didnt wanna promote this fight? Money talks as always. Haye would smash him to pieces in less than 3 rounds.
Chisora went 36 rounds with Fury, Helenius and Vitali without ever looking like going down. David '10 punches per round' Haye has absolutely no chance whatsoever of stopping Chisora.

To be fair its a good fight on the world stage let alone the domestic scene .
It wont happen though unless they can come up with some serious wedge for Haye .

This fight is a promoters dream. If it happens, it will be Haye-Per-View on allegedly.

Need a special licence for that . Can warren promotions finance this?Dan Dares wrote:This fight is a promoters dream. If it happens, it will be Haye-Per-View on Allegedly channel.

x 2. Barrett done Tua in the first fight as well - put him down for the first time in his career. Very moody call.Final round wrote:Two Gunz Barrett went 24 rounds with the Tua Man! I like Barrett. Hope he gets big bucks for kicking Shane Cameron's arse in NZ.

Would they have to hold it outside the UK or are we assuming Chisora's ban will be lifted for it?

He'd trample over his own grandmother in his haste to sign this match, if he got the chance. Allegedly.

At least a year away, Haye's set to challenge Vitali in September, Chisora's banned, this time next year maybeJ-C wrote:Would they have to hold it outside the UK or are we assuming Chisora's ban will be lifted for it?
