If he did it would be for the same reason he wanted to fight Audley, for a big payday due to public interest.

If it's true it means FW has done a complete 180 since the immediate aftermath of Wlad/Chisora. Will they be able to offer enough to tempt Haye out of retirement without PPV money?

I seem to remember Warren chose his words rather carefully in the days following the scuffle between Haye and Chisora. He said things along the lines of (paraphrase) "I have no plans to promote a fight between Chisora and Haye" and that he didn't "think he would feel comfortable promoting a fight between the pair" (again paraphrase). Perhaps he has since put together plans and now realises he would feel comfortable promoting Chisora versus Haye. I haven't searched to see if there is a categoric statement from him saying he would never promote a fight between the pair. Maybe he did. Anyhow, he's a boxing promoter...

The weight of responsibility again falls onto the shoulders of the Board. If, firstly, Warren and then, as I expect to happen, Haye and Chisora start a media frenzy stirring up interest in (yet another over-hyped heavyweight showdown of) a fight, will the Board have the fortitude to stand by their decision to withdraw Chisora's licence? Time will tell.

About 47mins into this interview he says "it's not one I would do" at which point you can see Colin Hart trying not to laugh. But you are right he never said 'never'.

If it does happen security will need to be tighter than the preverbal water bird arse. Might be a few too many excitable types in the crowd.
