Don't be jostling the hornet's nest. You need to go with light or lighter weights......Crease don't put up with no nonsense on this

In a non black and white world, where "binary" is not the culture, there would be understanding and the demonstration of some leeway.

But we live in world exemplified by a sharp and distinct "crease", where the rules are not to be trifled with.

THE RULE:

The first half of the snake MUST be utilized for Lightweight to Heavyweight choices.

The second half of the snake MUST be utilized for Lightweight to Straweight choices.

Don't look at me, I don't make the rules......uh wait a minute....yeah I guess I do.

Nevertheless, crease is in charge of anguish and disapointment....not me.

Well if Crease is responsible for putting a weight class in 2 pools I will accept this rule. Am I also at liberty to utilise my ''one fighter per season swap'' right, by forfeiting its use for the season, and selecting from the upper pool? Is this a fair deal, or could I scuppered by yet more Crease instigated rules?

The lower weight pool is a little thin with a lot already being picked in the higher pool

On a side note, any chance of posting up the list of fighters picked from time to time? 4 pages in makes it tricky to see who is grabbed up sometimes.

Listen to Buzz on this one:

No. The rules have beem put in place - everyone is allowed one "bigger guy" (HW-LW) and one "smaller guy" (LW-SW), it's the same for everyone.

You picked Duran in the first draft round recognising that he would probably be one of the most wanted fighters in the lighter weight pool, but you did so at the sacrifice of all other fighters in the heavier weight pool.
Rules are the rules.

Actually that was Buzz's call - i was reluctant to do it but seeing as the Lightweight Division was the "middle ground" I did not challenge it.

You get a :TU: for your ingenuity for this (speaking as a fellow Manager)
But you get a :shame: from me (speaking as joint acting Commish)

It probably is a little thin compared to the heavier weight pool - but be that as it may you have the greatest fighters of seven weight divisions to choose from: So it's not like you're going to end up with a bad fighter.

Lightweight really should have been in the lighter weights only. The spread would have been much closer then. That being said I picked a lightweight as my heavier weight pick so it hasn't worked too badly for me.

Actually I felt the same way about the Lightweight Division being put exclusively into the Lighter weight pool - just to level up the talent make it a bit closer... But it's a bit late now, mate. Maybe next time around...

Likewise, 2 who most consider top 10 p4p all time. I did have my eyes on Greb before you got in, no complaints about Benny Leonard though.

The field is laced with talent this season, I can't imagine many Managers complaining about the lack of quality of their second round picks.
