Brooks a coke head and got stabbed in club - Apparently
Re: Brooks a coke head and got stabbed in club - Apparently
Berto, Alexander, Ortiz? Maybe Maidana (and that's a stretch)? I can't think of any other names who would be much, much better than Clottey. Jones if he wasn't fighting Bailey?

If not, Milton McCrory?

Regarding that article, why Brook's next fight "sure to be another sell-out"?Jc89 wrote:http://www.BS.com/team-brook-f ... ims--51375smoggy7188 wrote:Clottely has been turned down by Hearn for the next Brook fight.

He's a liability the moment he opens his mouth. How can he not know there would be repercussions by him posting such comments on Twitter? Just how stupid is he?..reggaereggae wrote:Khan is a liability with his twitter account

I'm hearing it's Otis Curtis, that would be a great matchKing Geedorah wrote:Necessary Connection, Phil’s a Humean.gobbles wrote:Regarding that article, why Brook's next fight "sure to be another sell-out"?Jc89 wrote: http://www.BS.com/team-brook-f ... ims--51375
I suppose it all hinges on the perception of the opponent etc. I don’t get the support for Clottey. The old African rolling his eyes back and bringing a witch doctor spiel is as old as the ‘teak tough’ bit and although he is no doubt supported by Azumah Nelson the match up doesn’t really inspire as it is 12x3 again and people will see it as a retread of N’dou.
He’d had an African, a Pole and a fellow Brit over, time for something a little bit different.

Well it's got to be Maidana then. Sky can bill it as Falklands 2!King Geedorah wrote:Necessary Connection, Phil’s a Humean.gobbles wrote:Regarding that article, why Brook's next fight "sure to be another sell-out"?Jc89 wrote: http://www.BS.com/team-brook-f ... ims--51375

Maybe the author has reached that conclusion on the basis that some of the 440k Sky viewers might turn up to supplement the 10k who attended on the night?
Of all the issues and elements discussed in this thread, isn't it jus typical that you decide to go in a completly new direction and adopt a cynical, negative anti-Kell tone? Seriously, i would like to know why you decided to comment on that throwaway line? Do you honestly think Kell is about to lose fans?
Given Amir's hopeless PR maybe you should get a job editing his twitter feed? You fight enough of his battles on here. Or are you sticking up for Fra nk and his patenty incorrect assesment that Kell Brook would never be a ticket seller?

I don't see how anyone can say a fight is "sure to sell out" when there's no opponent. The fight with Hatton certainly caught the imagination, but no reason to be sure the next will. Selling out shows is difficult, particularly in summer. If he got a crowd of 7,000, that would be fantastic, probably the third best live crowd in the UK this year, but in the world of "sure to sell out", it would be seen as a failure.

I would not mind seeing Amir Khan v Kell Brook fighting each other down the line at Welterweight as it would be another tasty War of The Roses match up except this one would generate a hell of lot of interest considering that amount of smack that Khan is throwing in Brook's direction and if it does happen I could actually see Brook beating Khan in this.
Re: Brooks a coke head and got stabbed in club - Apparently
True but im sure Eddie Hearn will have thought of this and will know he needs to keep the hype train running. They are building up Kels fan base in sheffield so that he will have travelling fans and his home popularity will cause alot of media interest. Hearn will be looking to land a name and im sure he wont disappoint.gobbles wrote:danfoster wrote:Alright, I'll bite.gobbles wrote: Regarding that article, why Brook's next fight "sure to be another sell-out"?
