PETITION AGAINST 20% EXTRA ON FOOD SUPPLEMENTS

Don't know if anyone has seen this elsewhere but the *@!%£@^ government intend to add 20% to all sorts of so called sports drinks. This mean a fifth extra on the protein shakes, recovery drinks etc. that many of us rely on to help train, stay healthy and strong during diets etc.

Claimed it's a simplification and that such products are a luxury, ffs. For me - and many others - they are a major part of my diet and will hit many hard up trainees. There is a petition here that people can sign protesting against this - over 16000 now but they want 25000.

So, if, hopefully anyone else feels as strongly as I do and don't want to cough up an extra £5 on every £25 tub etc. please sign

Don't actually live in the UK any more but I've signed it anyway. Pretty ridiculous to hike taxes by 20% on health products.
