Just finished this.

I cannot recommend this highly enough...what a remarkable read, especially the depth of insight on --- and from --- Douglas.

A fine read :TU:

yeah I enjoyed it, the narrative of the book was a little different to most books but it works.

Is there any agenda in the book GI or is it straight down the middle? I loved the Tyson era but can't stomach tysonite freaks and writers who are packed with wacky excuses for any loss or misstep he made. I'd be interested in reading more from Douglas who always had a quiet, dry wit that made me laugh.

No, Tyson is not afforded a rose-tinted view --- but he does get a fair hearing, as does Douglas (who you get a slight sense is favoured over Tyson by the author).

Its quite even-handed, though.
