He was certainly delusional about Lewis, He threw the belt in the bin to avoid Lewis, Lewis did not avoid him, in fact Lewis fought and ko'ed the dangerous Razor Ruddock to become no 1 challenger for Bowe's title, so took the hard route just to fight him. I think Bowe was mentally scarred by his defeat to Lewis in the Olympic final and never really felt he could beat Lewis, but Bowe was still a good fighter, but his fights with Golotachinny wrote:Really sad to hear how slurred his speech is and how delusional he seems.
