So FW wouldnt promote Haye v Chisora?

Post by Finn »

As we all said when FW anounced he wouldnt promote a Haye v Chisora fight, that it was utter bollocks. I've noticed a lot of talk from FW and bunce that they have spoke to haye and they think the fight is going to happen sometime soon.

Anyone think this fight is likely?

nah not for me.

the whole incident has cooled off now & David Haye isn't interested, he views chisora as a bum (not that it stopped him fighting Audley right enough, but at that stage he was cashing in on the fact he was champ).

Haye may have more to gain by fighting Tyson Fury imo, and a much easier nights work. I think they'd both gross similar revenues

Haye isn't going to fight again. He's made enough money. He clearly doesn't care any more. He just wants to be a playboy and be in films

Haye always wanted to be a playboy and in films, it didn't stop him becoming a two weight world champ. I think he'll fight if the offer is up to his expectations (which I'm not sure it will be).

yeah money talks like calzaghe said "i'd come out of retirement tomorrow for £10 mil, who the hell cares about and unbeaten record when you have ten mill in your pocket".

Haye isnt acting like a retired man but it will need to be a big money fight with the chance of fighting a klit to get him in the ring. Beating chisora would certainly generate enough interest to make them put haye v vitali as a ppv.

It just made me laugh that FW is now trying to build up interest in a fight he said he would not promote last month.

Unless Haye gets a shot at a Klitschko i cant see him getting in the ring again, It would be annoying to see Haye, Chisora and FW making loads of money from the fight when its only because of what happened in Germany why the fight would make loads and interest anybody, Therefore paying them both off for their stupid behaviour. Haye vs any Klitschko wouldnt appeal to me again as i think the exact same would happen again, He doesnt have the heart or guts to make it an all or nothing fight you cannot beat the Klitschkos with out getting right inside and risking getting knocked out
