Mayweather - Cotto : Face off with Max Kellerman

Post by Quixall »

This is the face off between Mayweather and Cotto.

Looks like floyd is using a tactic of being non-plussed, aswell as super nice and respectful :D

Cotto is his normal self, down to earth and a gentlemen.

Hope you enjoy

I'll tell you what Floyd is definately the quickest guy on the planet. At the start of the interview they are both sat with the backs of their chairs against their chest. The camera goes off him for a matter of about a second and suddenly he is sat normally and a few seconds later he is back with the back of the seat to his chest again. It's like Ali used to say he was so quick he would turn the lights off and be in bed before it was dark, Mayweather Jr actually does this kinda shite for real.

Mayweather really is a disrespectful little tw*t isn't he? Obviously the whole betting during the face off thing, trying to get attention to focus on him when Cotto is talking etc, is a ploy to wind up Cotto. What's most annoying is that HBO and Kellerman both go for it, breaking off from filming and talking to Cotto mid sentence to defer back to Floyd and his effing smartphone, or whatever he's got.

Fair play to Cotto, he takes it all well, but Floyd got under MY skin!

Still they seem to like each other. I hope Cotto somehow magically gets the win, but it's a close hard won fight for both of them. Not interested in seeing a beat down from Mayweather or a defensive masterclass. I hope for a real fight. I do really like both fighters and I'm looking forward to this one.

Would anyone here not celebrate wildly if Cotto somehow won?

It'd be FANTASTIC if Cotto won. I'd have disdain for Floyd on the basis of his 'Money' name alone. And then he opens his mouth. Plus he has been one of the most calculating HOF fighters in history. He might bet in the tens of thousands but he is risk averse when it comes to his sport.

I'm a fan of both. I've never hated on Mayweather. Sure, he may comes across as flash, arrogant, but plenty of fighters have done so before him. He's by no means the first, and he won't be the last. No mater how much money he has, no matter how talented he is, he still puts in the hard graft in the gym, time & time again. He does his roadwork at like 1/2.00am in Vegas.

Claude Abrams, former editor of Boxing News, stated out of all the fighters he'd seen training live, Floyd was the hardest working!

Cotto is receiving by far his largest Purse, about $30,000,000 (35% of the fight purse). He won't beat Floyd, whom I expect to look as good as ever, if not better. He'll not take Cotto lightly in any way, shape or form.
