I only did it because I could bare to watch my Nations Cup Team fall from grace, however it looks like that will be done for with half of the captains out. I notice Bajingo got out of his ban, don't know how he pulled that one off. My reason for being banned has recently been updated from "eff off" to "take some time off".

Bajingo, like me, didn’t break any rules, was just in the wrong place, wrong time. That’s why it wasn’t permanent.

I would say they are erratic rather than trigger happy.

1. Say you are going to rape someones Mum if they dont support Brook over Khan - fine.

2. Mention a legal stream for the weigh in of Cotto-Mayweather - permaband.

It's a weird place but not as mental as BS.com's forum.

It all just seems very close to the bone for them to be called trigger happy :TU:

Do people get banned for very little over there then?
I accused one of the mods of shagging Charlie zelenoff :shame:
You mean the Great Charlie Z? Undefeated three weight world champion and nailed on Hall of Famer. He's going to topple the Klitschkos you know?

I used to, I still have a glance on there occassionally. Didn't get banned just got fed up with the board, it's too busy for my tastes and there's too many posters who are quick to start flinging personal insults when they disagree.

Like some, I do have an account but I don't post there ever.

Its pretty good here. Most ppl know their stuff and atleast try to debate rather than insult one another. Some great posters ,mature posters like Beaujack, who provides some fascinating old skool info, really old skool stuff. Yancey, Boilermaker, Buzz, Alp, Collins to-ing and fro-ing is always enjoyable to read, King Geo, EOQ and MattS are pretty enlightening and humourous...

... and Livingstone Cole never says 'No'.

Theres a couple of amusing apology videos on Youtube from some of the members. The one guy is sat on the toilet.

I quite enjoy reading the forums and once your senses dull to the annoying Klitschko groupies, its all good. The Prediction League in the Lounge section is superb.

It used to be back in 2005-2007 that ESB would ban people for next to nothing, but now they've become much more tolerant. In fact, they're letting some people get away with too much childishness (persistant, excessive trolling and obsessively following and abusing/harrassing other posters).

In contrast, BS let people get away with too much back in 2007 to 2010. But now there's a mod called "reedickyaluss" who was given the power to ban people and has been handing out countless bans for no good reason during the past 6 months or so. However, he lets childishly obsessive trolls stay as long as they are fans of the same American boxers he likes.

Yer, but I'm growing to quite like this place, it's slower moving, but less of the annoying people that make the general forum on eastside unviewable.

I only want back in to get my Predictions in for the Nation's Cup thing they have running over there, was some great banter on that until the majority of Team Ireland got banned in the same day.

I'd learnt more about boxing in the Classic and Brit forums over there in 6 months than I had previously just watching boxing over the last 5 years. hopefully I can continue to learn from the insightful posters that I've see thus far on here.

And thanks on the Avatar, it always made me laugh as well.

Haha as I said the General Forum isn't worth looking at unless you like continuous back and forth arguments between petulant Phillipino's and moronic Mayweather fans. If you only read the General you'd swear they were the only two active boxers in the world, except of course for the weekly Klitschko fans baiting anyone who will bite that they're the best thing since sliced bread. But I found the British forum to be insightful and great for RbR and even technical analysis.

I just registered at ESB a week ago and have been posting there daily. It took three days for them to accept my registration. I don´t know, maybe they did a background check on me or send my info the FBI or something...I dunno

But the site is not bad at all, so far.
There´s tons of people online, some are idiots but others know their stuff. Me being one of the latter ones of course. I think BoxRec is better tho the only bad thing is that BoxRec has little traffic.

I've dabbled.

But among the very shrewd posters there are thousands of bell-ends and endless gifs, signatures etc.

DHB was so laden with viruses and ads it killed itself.

Here is where the good posters are, but with rise of twitter, the traffic has slowed.
