Whats up with Sweeney one minute he says he is a light heavy then the next he says hes a cruiserweight, he should never be at cruiser I thought the Timms fight proved that . At light heavy Sweeney could do something and I think this move back to crusier smacks of a lack of dedication.

well slap,im not chris..darren a boxing fan but know alot of traveller fighters..sweeney is leaving sunday to denmark to spar mickel keseler for 3 weeks

After the weigh in, in which neither looked in great condition, I've swung back in favour of Sweeney to outpoint him

His prime was before my time but saw some footage of him KOing a few fellas and he came across as an absolute c ock of the highest degree.
What's his rep around Belfast?

Definitely a marmite figure. I've heard plenty about him, some not so savoury. However, I was a fan. The belly, the do, the post knockout war-dance = entertainment in my book.

In his early pro career i always thought Darren was carrying to much weight and around super middleweight would have suited him much better,and he was a very heavy hitter maybe he needed a trainer/manager who could control him and yes he should have went to USA with Frazier

I expect Sweeney to win this comfortably, Corbett looked well past his best in Prizefighter 2 years ago now, not quite sure why he is making this comeback.
