Shocking fight. Fitzgerald was not the favourite for the irish prizefighter. Are tickets bad and they need to boost by have Irish challenger fighting for world title!elephant man wrote:smoggy7188 wrote:Any news on the other world title fight on the bill?

I don't rate Cleverley a Top 10 Light Heavy as there are 10 guys at that weight i think beat him pretty comfortably and then there's another 5 that i'd say would be 50-50 fights.loaded_gloves wrote:You're shocked by this shit?
The WBO have been doing this since 1989.
Any wonder why 90% of British 'world champions' have been WBO champions?
And we know which promoter was behind most of them.
Yes, 175 is a deep division at the moment. I'd take Clev over Henry and Shumenov, but that's it really. Never seen Garica fight so can't comment on him. And to be honest I wouldn't even be that confident of him beating Allan Greene, as if nothing else he can punch. I don't think for all of the talk there's any chance of Hopkins coming over here in the summer. I expect a load of WBO mandatories for the next couple of years so Warren can milk the title for as long as he can get away with.exittored wrote:I don't rate Cleverley a Top 10 Light Heavy as there are 10 guys at that weight i think beat him pretty comfortably and then there's another 5 that i'd say would be 50-50 fights.loaded_gloves wrote:You're shocked by this shit?

These are the 10 who would beat Cleverley:
Bernard Hopkins
Chad Dawson
Tavouris Cloud
Jean Pascal
Mikkel Kessler
Isaac Chilemba - seen him a few times and would be too cute for Clev.
Gabriel Campillo
Ismayl Sillakh - this guy will be the dominant Light Heavy a year from now.
Zsolt Erdei - people forget he's the linear champ plus still unbeaten.
Chris Henry - crude but the hardest hitting light heavy and all it would take is one punch against Clev.
These are 5 that i would give a 50-50 chance of beating Clev
Juergen Braehmer - Not great but still a level above Karo Murat.
Luis Garcia - not one of the best cubans but has some potential.
Adrian Diaconu - a very dangerous guy who would give clev fits.
Beibut Shumenov -
Dmitry Sukhotsky - again i rate this guy a level above Karo Murat.
Yeah keep that disgrace of a man in NZ.turbostar wrote: I'm assuming they're on about Soulan Pownceby, the WBO #3 and Asia-Pacific champion, who has an even worse record than Krasniqi (and whose past makes Tyson look like a saint).
